This is a preview
It's a working sketch of what jaysgreencare.com could be. Click around, switch between
For my home and For my business at the top, and try the season planner.
Nothing you type here is stored. The quote form and the season plan open a text or email from your own phone,
so you can try them on yourselves. It's hidden from Google on purpose, so it never competes with your real site.
Why the real site will be more than one page
Google ranks pages, not whole websites, and each page gets one title and one topic. One page can only compete
for a handful of searches. The full site gives each thing people search for its own page:
- A page for each service: weekly lawn care, cleanups, aeration and overseeding, mulch and beds, paver patios, walkways and steps, retaining walls, snow removal.
- A page for each town: Aurora, Batavia, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, West Chicago, Wheaton, Winfield and Yorkville, each with jobs you've done there and a review from a neighbor.
- Project pages: one finished job each, with before and after photos, the town and what was done.
- Reviews, FAQ and About pages, with your Google profile pointing to the right one.
That's how searches like "paver patio Aurora IL" and "lawn care Naperville" get won. This page already has the
title, description and business details Google reads; the extra pages build on it.
Things to check with you
- Hours. Google says Monday to Friday 8 to 6 and Saturday 8 to 1; Nextdoor says 7 to 6 and 7 to 4. Which is right?
- The numbers. Mowing heights, how deep a patio base goes and the season timing are written as general good practice. Tell us what you actually do and we'll match it.
- Businesses. Which kinds of properties do you look after: storefronts, offices, rentals, HOAs?
- The little icon in the browser tab is made from your logo's own J and G. Keep it or change it.
- Photos are all from your site. Point out your favorites and any we should swap.
What comes next
The client sign-in: your regulars see their next visit, the crew's photos and their invoices, signing in with
the phone number or email you already have. Quote requests land in one place instead of scattered texts and
emails. The preview of it is near the bottom of the page.
